Rio de Janeiro, Brazil -- Welcome to the Estádio do Maracanã, a place where soccer players from around the word dream of playing.
Maracanã is actually the name of the neighborhood where the stadium resides, and it's official name is Estádio Jornalista Mário Filho. When using Metrô Rio, the subway system in Rio, you hop off at the stop labeled Maracanã, which is the directly next to the stadium.

Two of the four most well-known Rio soccer teams call this stadium home, as Flamengo and Fluminense play their home matches in the Maracanã. Meanwhile, Vasco da Gama plays at Estádio São Januário and Botafogo plays at Estádio Olímpico João Havelange.
The Maracanã Stadium has a capacity of 78,838, hosted the 2014 FIFA World Cup Final and will host the 2016 Summer Olympics final match for both the men's and women's competition.
